INGESOM automates the filling of the feed hopper and makes the assembly of a new control box for the bagger that our client has just acquired. As in previous projects, INGESOM also coordinates the actions to be carried out by each company involved in the work, from the manufacturer of the bagger to the electric installer.
With the old bagger, the operators filled the tanks with a manual selector, which activated the exit of raw materials from the silos to the hopper and to the bagger. At present, the new bagger with a control panel and a touch screen programmed by INGESOM, the operators have a greater control over the process since they can initiate actions from the screen itself, in an easy and intuitive way.
The hopper always contains a controlled amount of raw materials thanks to several maximum and minimum sensors and there is a series of alarms that warn if for example the amount of expected material has not fallen. The necessary aspiration inside the silos is automatic, saving energy and in addition the updated electrical diagrams allow to identify the source of failure in case of occurrence. The automation of the bagger facilitates and simplifies the tasks to be performed, reducing errors and time spent which results in an increase in productivity in the plant.
The energy costs in ceramic production
In the ceramic industry, controlling energy costs is a key factor for the viability of any factory. In the current energy market situation, it is essential to have a tool that allows monitoring of the energy consumption of all machines and processes, in order to be able to know the energy cost of producing each […]
