As highly skilled developres on the .net platform, we collaborated on the development of the control screen of the new inkjet ‘ Nozomi C18000 ‘ printer of the prestigious brand EFI ™ (Electronics For Imaging) destined for the sector of the industrial packing in corrugated paperboard. This innovative one-step LED printer capable of performing at 75m/min and printng of up to 1,8 m size-long has been presented during the celebration of the main fair of the graphic and industrial impression sector, drupa 2016, in Dusseldorf (Germany) that took place from May 31 until June 10, 2016.
Different development teams have participated in the development of the machine, including the company responsible of the printers for ceramic tiles Cretaprint ™ whose central headquarters are located in Castellón (Spain), and with whom we have collaborated directly to produce a product of top quality necessary for such an innovative machine in his sector. We used Microsoft technologies as WPF and we followed a work flow based on a constant exchange of information with incremental deliveries of the completed material.
‘EFI’s next generation of innovation brings to market the strongest combination of versatility, imaging quality and production speeds at a total cost of ownership that is far below similar single-pass platforms,’ said Guy Gecht, EFI’s CEO. ‘When commercially available next year, the Nozomi C18000 press will finally give the corrugated packaging market a unique solution to establish a profitable business around on-demand, customized digital printing.’
